seamless ease

Take the opportunity of a lifetime and stay in this beautifully appointed bungalow in the town of blowing rock. Enjoy the restaurants, arts and crafts shopping, pubs and a friendly park to sit and listen to local music bands all walking distance without the worry of looking for parking. We found easy access to major roadways for the Appalachian experience, ATTRACTIONS AND SKI areas as well. the town offers an abundance of gardens and walkways of flowering plants that defies expectations. The rustic Bark house, an example of High Country living at its best yet "in town", enjoying softened "live" music from the outside garden and pub 1/2 block away, all the while grilling in the privacy of "your" back yard. Morning coffee with birds and cool breezes . We were quite surprised to find how quite and pleasant this location is with its proximity to EVERYTHING good. WHAT A TREAT.

I only communicated once via phone with the staff and a few times via e-mail but all experiences were very positive, prompt and friendly.

My wife and I both agreed that this was the most relaxed vacation either of us had ever experienced and we can't wait to come back. As I mentioned above the only negative (and I mean only negative) was the poison oak and poison ivy. There was an over abundance of it. And although that may have hindered us from venturing out a little more around the cottage grounds it did not take away form our overall relaxed vacation. The porch. Couldn't leave the porch. The inside was extremely nice with the many options on the TV but the porch was so cool and relaxing we didn't want to leave it. Next to the porch we loved the openness of the den, dining area and kitchen. Exceeded expectations. Relaxing, clean and very accommodating. Will be returning next year for a week. Already looking forward to it. Manager response: Thank you for alerting us to the poison ivy/oak issue. It has been taken care of. We look forward to you staying with us on your next mountain vacation!

Thank you to Christine Thacker, who answered all our questions without question! She was the human touch that is so missing in this age of all-computer use of securing properties to rent, and this was a luxury for us! Knowing that 'someone' was there for us was a bonus!

lovely property, and perfect for large families. Plenty of charming space, and absolutely lovely vegetation in the backyard. Walk to everywhere in BR!

The staff (specifically Christine) was very pleasant and willing to help with our needs.

We really enjoyed our time in the property. Comfortable and relaxing. A full size coffee maker would be nice. Some updates to the unit would be nice to see. The blinds on the front window were broken. A few light bulbs were burned out. Nothing major and nothing to call about during our stay.

Great unit and we would definitely stay again. Icemaker was not working in the refrigerator and water was leaking into the fridge. An agent of the RE firm immediately brought crushed ice to our condo. Liked the view from the back porch. Beds were comfortable and liked having two master suites.

Every interaction I had was pleasant. The person on the other end of the phone was professional and helpful. They weren't put out by helping in any way they could. Great customer service.

We loved the view and again, the home was cozy and we were able to relax, which is what we wanted. We would come back and hope to bring some family members with us next time. We were there to celebrate our 25th Wedding anniversary, having honeymooned in Blowing Rock 25 years ago. We love the area.

The team was very helpful when I called and booked. I also did part of my booking online which was also helpful.

We enjoyed the unit. It has a homey feel and was comfortable. We did look for a puzzle and couldn't find one. Might be a thought for those rainy days. Also, the couple that stayed in the downstairs master were disappointed to not have a t.v. I felt like something may have recently happened to the t.v. and it hadn't been replaced yet. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in your unit. Just making suggestions as we live in a resort town and have always been in the hospitality business, so I know comments can help.
