We enjoyed the Little Bear Cabin and will be back again soon. The cabin is laid out very well for a large family and located very well to Boone and Blowing Rock!

So clean and well maintained!

It was very convenient to grandfather mountain, Boone, banner elk and blowing rock. Its very peaceful environment. Having a hot tub was definitely a plus. Only downside was we had a hard time with the oven working it kept throwing us some kind of code and would turn off. Manager Response: Thank you for letting us know about the oven. We have the appliance repair man scheduled to make the repair. We hope you can come stay with us again soon!

Property was well maintained and I really liked the location. Safe and secure setting. I personally would have preferred fewer outside steps (LOL)

The property was very clean and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay. Our electricity went out several times (Due to the Irma) but there was information in the provided booklet which led us to a quick recovery. We appreciated the well organized booklet that answered all questions we might of had regarding the cabin. The beds were comfortable and the cabin provided plenty of linens and kitchen utensils. I would suggest leaving a flashlight for guests as we did not bring one as suggested in the list of things to bring. ( When flying it is hard to include those kind of things in limited luggage.) I would highly recommend this cabin for one or two couples. I appreciate the effort that goes into keeping such a lovely home in good, well maintained condition.

Very Positive!! The staff at Blowing Rock Properties are great. They immediately take the appropriate action to fix any problem whether a cable box issue, refrigerator, A/C, etc. They will continue to be the first property agent I will call when planning a future stay in the NC Mountains. It was wonderful...very accomodating (1) Less than 2 minutes to fish (2) 3 bedrooms to accomodate visiting grand-kids and other guests (3)nice upper unit owner (seldom in residence) (4)quiet location within the Chetola Resort Community (5) convenient location to an outside grille

I had a little trouble getting my credit card to work, but Bethany worked through it. She was very helpful. When I had a question about the cabin, my emails were answered promptly. I was very happy with my experience.

We had a great mini vacation. The cabin was awesome. It was very nice and clean. We are already planning on a return trip next year.

We had a marvelous time. I loved the serenity & peacefulness. Thanks for sharing your "place" of paradise.

Bethany was extremely professional and accommodating to our special request. We had booked a quick weekend away but unexpectedly needed to attend a funeral in Beckley, WV on the Sat. while there. Bethany allowed us to check in a little early and check out a little late since our entire day would be spent away from Sunset Stroll and Blowing Rock. We are most appreciative.

Wonderful family getaway!

seamless ease

Take the opportunity of a lifetime and stay in this beautifully appointed bungalow in the town of blowing rock. Enjoy the restaurants, arts and crafts shopping, pubs and a friendly park to sit and listen to local music bands all walking distance without the worry of looking for parking. We found easy access to major roadways for the Appalachian experience, ATTRACTIONS AND SKI areas as well. the town offers an abundance of gardens and walkways of flowering plants that defies expectations. The rustic Bark house, an example of High Country living at its best yet "in town", enjoying softened "live" music from the outside garden and pub 1/2 block away, all the while grilling in the privacy of "your" back yard. Morning coffee with birds and cool breezes . We were quite surprised to find how quite and pleasant this location is with its proximity to EVERYTHING good. WHAT A TREAT.

I only communicated once via phone with the staff and a few times via e-mail but all experiences were very positive, prompt and friendly.

My wife and I both agreed that this was the most relaxed vacation either of us had ever experienced and we can't wait to come back. As I mentioned above the only negative (and I mean only negative) was the poison oak and poison ivy. There was an over abundance of it. And although that may have hindered us from venturing out a little more around the cottage grounds it did not take away form our overall relaxed vacation. The porch. Couldn't leave the porch. The inside was extremely nice with the many options on the TV but the porch was so cool and relaxing we didn't want to leave it. Next to the porch we loved the openness of the den, dining area and kitchen. Exceeded expectations. Relaxing, clean and very accommodating. Will be returning next year for a week. Already looking forward to it. Manager response: Thank you for alerting us to the poison ivy/oak issue. It has been taken care of. We look forward to you staying with us on your next mountain vacation!
